Accents is located in our newer, larger home at 4500 Shores Drive in Metairie where we now have room not only for cross stitch products, but for all of the beautiful models that inspire you to create works of art from the work of your needle.
The Accents Inc website was originally created to allow relocated New Orleanians a place to find cross stitch designs that speak to them of home. While we have a full line of cross stitch products in the shop (including charts not related to NOLA) we have never added these items to the website. Our intention in 2013 is to add fibers and fabrics to the website so that you can order the materials that you need to actually stitch your designs. I anticipate that it will take months to get the products uploaded, but the goal is to see it happen before the Thanksgiving holiday. If you are looking for a product we welcome your phone calls or emails.
About Accents: we are a brick and mortar needlework shop located in the metropolitan New Orleans area. We opened on July 5, 1984. Our product line is counted cross stitch. Since Hurricane Katrina we have specialized in seeking charts relating to the culture of our city and our state, but we stock a full line of fabrics, fibers and cross stitch products.
